Crafting a Majestic Brand Identity for a Michigan Adventure Wedding Photographer
Designing the brand identity for a Michigan wedding photographer who specializes in adventure elopements and intimate weddings was an exciting challenge. Tianna’s work is rooted in capturing the majestic beauty of nature while documenting the raw, emotional connections between couples. With her passion for the outdoors and love for storytelling, we set out to create a brand identity and website that felt as adventurous and grounded as the weddings she captures.
Adventure Meets Romance in a Timeless Brand
Tianna’s brand keywords—majestic, adventurous, grounded, romantic, and memorable—set the tone for the entire design process. To reflect the spirit of adventure, we chose an outdoor-inspired typeface for her logo. The rugged, yet elegant font mirrors the grand landscapes she photographs and her connection to nature. This adventurous typeface is balanced with a touch of romance through the addition of a script font that brings a softer, more intimate feel to the branding.
Her personal wolf illustration, a deeply meaningful symbol for her, was seamlessly incorporated into the design. The wolf represents strength, freedom, and the wildness that often accompanies her adventurous weddings, making it a key element of the brand’s story.
A Color Palette Inspired by Nature
To further bring the brand’s outdoor focus to life, we selected a color palette inspired by the natural world. Maroon, sage, olive green, gray, and neutral tones were chosen to reflect the earthy, grounded feel of her photography. The combination of these rich, organic colors helps evoke the rugged beauty of Michigan’s landscapes, while the maroon adds a romantic warmth that speaks to the intimate connections between the couples she photographs.

In addition to crafting her brand identity, we also designed a custom website that showcases her adventurous spirit and passion for capturing love stories in breathtaking landscapes. The Showit website reflects her brand keywords by using bold imagery, warm tones, and an intuitive layout that makes it easy for potential clients to navigate. We incorporated the wolf logo throughout the site in subtle ways to further reinforce the brand’s personal connection.
